charlotte-reflectionAbout Charlotte Marie

At the age of 4 Charlotte Marie first took to the dance floor and since has never looked back. She started her training in Latin American, Rock and Roll and Disco examined by the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) She then later progressed into Ballroom, Modern Jive and Hip Hop.

In 2004 she was involved in a Modern Jive dance cabaret where she first met Keelan. They entered into the UK Dance Championships for Modern Jive and after being placed 2nd she was determined to come back with a high energy dance routine combined with a little magic with the help of Keelan. The following year she entered once again partnered with Keelan and they were placed 1st, winning the title of UK Modern Jive Champions 2005.

Shortly after this, she began working with Keelan as his full time assistant while also studying Business Studies, Economics and ICT at Sixth Form College. During this time they also began to develop the Quick Change Act where the transformation from magician and assistant to double act was formed and ever since Charlotte has never considered herself as a magician's assistant but an entertainer in her own right.

Charlotte Marie has appeared on several television shows including Xchange and Dick N Dom in Da Bungalow on CBBC in the earlier years of performing and more recently Britain's Got Talent in 2009, where herself and Keelan received incredible comments from all three judges and were put through to the semi finals, but could not attend the the shows due to already existing contracts for performances in India in the same time frame.

In 2006, Charlotte worked with Keelan in the Basil Brush stage show of which they embarked on a massive 110 show UK tour. Not only was she working with Keelan she was also the headlining female star of the show which last for almost 5 months of non stop touring. This tour really enables the Quick Change Act to find its feet and with so many performances under her belt she was really able to develop as a performer and master her title of Quick Change Artist during these shows.

From there they have gone from strength to strength and developed the Quick Change act even further before entering the British Magical Championships in February 2007 at the World’s Largest Magic Convention held at the Blackpool Opera House. They entered in the General Magic category of which they won as well as going onto beat all other 15 finalists to win the Grand Prix Award titling them British Magical Champions 2007. This to date is still one of the greatest achievements of Charlotte's career and something she will never forget.
